Tibetan Pulsing Healing -The
Founder
Tibetan Pulsing Healing is an adaptation of the
ancient ritual practices of the Tibetan monasteries into energy processes better
suited to the western mind.. Although it has its origins in the monasteries
of Tibet, the founder of Tibetan Pulsing Healing was an American named Shantam
Dheeraj, a creative genius who developed this system of bodywork over the last
thirty years. Dheeraj understood the inner workings of the various energy circuits
and had a unique way of relating which at times was hard to understand. He always
talked directly to a particular energy ciruit and would talk differently depending
on which circuit he was relating to. Aswell as being a deeply effective healing
technique Tibetan Pulsing healing is also a unique system for understanding
human consciousness. Each energy circuit in the system has a particular colour,
sound, animal and country that is symbolic of its character. It can be compared
to astrology where people talk of a person being piscean. For example in this
system people can be described as "spleeny" (over excited) or "throaty"
(full of self doubt). Once you begin to understand the different personalities

has no concern with any kind of separation it wants to merge with other hearts.
When two people touch one another, feeling with the pulse beat, the beat is
the same for both. When a hundred people touch one another it's one pulse, when
a thousand, when a million it's all the same because we are all really one heart.

Born as James Rudolph Murley in Texas, USA The founder and director
of Tibetan Pulsing Healing was later to become known as Dheeraj. His early years
were notable mainly because of the amount of alcohol he consumed, an alcoholic
for 20 years he realized he had to change after developing pancreatitis and
having a couple of seizures. In his early adult life he was involved in the
advertising world which eventually took him to Hollywood. He stumbled upon meditation
after trying all kinds of other cures for his drinking habit. Meditation helped
him to gather internal strength and radically altered his perception. He then
discovered that by touching his pancreas with his hands and feeling the pulse
the pain stopped. He soon found that he could melt tumours with his own bio
electrical energy and so he became a healer. As a practitioner of a new alternative
therapy he was in the right place, Hollywood was full of people in need of help,
he became busy working on insecure and stressed out actors.

began constructing maps of the nervous system, maps which led him to identify
the various "inner" processes of the energy circuits. .
Dheeraj became the first to develop a new form of these practices designed to
suit western needs and the western mind, he was a creative genius who constantly
discovered new ways to approach healing. According to Dheeraj almost every illness
including psychological illness starts inside the body, for example we get depressed
if our liver circuit is not flowing correctly. This can be corrected with Tibetan
Pulsing Healing by directing a current flow into an area of negative charge
thus changing the energy into a positive one leading to transformation.
Dheerajs methods were very single pointed, he
dismissed all other healing techniques pointing out the disadvantages of other
methods in comparison toTibetan Pulsing healing. Although some were put off
by this attitude it came from an authentic urge to heal himself and those around
him and indeed to heal the planet as a whole. He also
had a total commitment to teaching and passing on his
understanding to as many people as possible. His many insights into people and
his understanding of universal laws, together with the power of the healing
technique itself attracted thousands of people to come and experience his workshops
and trainings in India and Europe. Having passed on the final phase of his teachings
in Italy Dheeraj died in 1998, his work was complete.
